Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

Slide House (slidehousemp.com) is an independent record label and creative studio. Slide House is run by Reecenben, Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in Houston, Texas, with its registered office at 300 Creek View Road, Suite 209, Newark, Delaware 19711, USA ("Reecenben," "we," "us"). Reecenben, Inc. is responsible for (the "controller" of) the personal information described in this Privacy Policy.

This Policy explains what we collect when you visit slidehousemp.com, submit music to us, or ask to work with us, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you have. Slide House is free to use.

1. Information we collect

Music submissions. When you use our "Submit music" form, we collect:

  • your artist name and email address;
  • links you share, such as Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube or Instagram links;
  • audio files (demos) you upload, and their file names and details; and
  • anything else you choose to tell us in the message field, such as your city, your story or who you have worked with.

Inquiries. When you use our "Work with us" or "Hire the studio" forms, or email us, we collect your name, email address, company or artist name, details about your project, budget and timing, and anything else you include in your message.

Technical and log information. When you visit the site, our servers automatically record basic log data, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the date and time, and error messages. We use this to run the site, keep it secure and stop abuse, such as spam submissions.

Analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves at stats.reecenben.com. Umami does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. It records page views, the site that referred you, browser and device type, and approximate country, and it does not store your IP address. We use it only to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful.

Cookies and fonts. Our public pages do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If a page uses a cookie, it is only one that is strictly necessary for the site to work, such as keeping a signed-in team member signed in. Our fonts are hosted on our own servers, so loading the site does not send your information to a font provider.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers or health information.

2. How we use your information

  • To listen to and review your music submissions for A&R purposes, and to contact you about them.
  • To reply to inquiries, discuss projects, send proposals and provide studio services you ask for.
  • To keep records of submissions we receive, so we can show what was sent to us and when.
  • To run, secure and improve the site, and to prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests, and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not use your music or personal information for advertising, and we do not use your music to train artificial intelligence models.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising (also called cross-context behavioral advertising).

We share personal information only:

  • with service providers that help us run Slide House, such as our website hosting provider, file storage provider and email provider. They process information only on our behalf, under our instructions;
  • within Reecenben, Inc., with the people who review submissions and handle projects, such as our A&R and studio team;
  • with your permission, for example if you ask us to introduce you to a producer or partner;
  • for legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Reecenben, our users or the public; and
  • in a business transfer, to a successor in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. How long we keep information

  • Music submissions we do not select: deleted 12 months after we receive them.
  • Music submissions we select: kept while we are discussing or working with you, and then as long as needed for any agreement we sign with you and our legal obligations.
  • Inquiries and related emails: 24 months after our last contact with you, or longer if they become part of a signed agreement or client record.
  • Server logs: 90 days, or longer if needed to investigate a security incident.
  • Analytics: Umami stores counts that do not identify you.

Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 more days before it is overwritten.

5. Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to submit music or send an inquiry. Slide House is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we received a submission or inquiry from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a child has sent us information, email info@reecenben.com.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), limited staff access to submissions, multi-factor authentication for staff accounts and spam protection on our forms. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and how to delete your information

You can ask us to delete your submission or inquiry at any time by emailing info@reecenben.com with the subject line "Delete my Slide House submission." Please send it from the email address you used and tell us your artist name. We will delete your information within 30 days, except for anything we must keep by law or to establish or defend legal claims.

8. Your U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it in a portable format;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete personal information we hold about you;
  • opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling (we do not do any of these); and
  • not be discriminated against for using your rights.

How to make a request. Email info@reecenben.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We will verify your identity by matching your request with the information we hold, usually by asking you to reply from the email address you used. We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you, and the total will not exceed 90 days. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of your permission.

How to appeal. If we deny your request, in whole or in part, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Privacy appeal." We will respond within 60 days and explain our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale and sharing. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no further action is needed. We do not respond differently to "Do Not Track" signals.

Categories, for California residents. In the last 12 months we collected identifiers (such as name, email address and IP address), audio content (music you submitted), professional information (such as your artist or company name and project details), and internet activity (log data and analytics). We collected them from you and your device, for the purposes in Section 2, and disclosed them only to the recipients in Section 3. We have not sold or shared personal information.

9. Users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, Reecenben, Inc. is the controller of your personal information. We rely on these legal bases:

  • steps you ask us to take before a contract, or performance of a contract, when you submit music, send an inquiry or hire the studio;
  • our legitimate interests in reviewing music, running our label and studio, keeping records and keeping the site secure, which we balance against your rights;
  • compliance with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules; and
  • your consent, where we ask for it. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. When we transfer personal information from the EEA or UK to the United States, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum to them, or another lawful transfer method.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal information, and to receive it in a portable format. To use these rights, email info@reecenben.com. You also have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority where you live or work, or where you believe a problem happened. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

10. Other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as streaming services and social media. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will also note it on the site before it takes effect.
