Terms of Use

Effective date: October 12, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of slidehousemp.com (the "Site") and any music, links or inquiries you send to Slide House through it. Slide House is an independent record label and creative studio run by Reecenben, Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in Houston, Texas, with its registered office at 300 Creek View Road, Suite 209, Newark, Delaware 19711, USA ("Reecenben," "Slide House," "we," "us"). By using the Site or sending us a submission, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You may browse the Site at any age allowed by law, but you must be at least 18 years old to submit music or send an inquiry. By sending a submission or inquiry, you confirm that you are 18 or older and can form a binding contract. If you are submitting on behalf of a group, label, management company or business, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.

2. The Site

The Site describes our label, our roster and our creative studio, and lets you submit music for A&R review and ask about working with us. The Site is free to use. Information on the Site is general and may change. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sign, record, release, pay or work with anyone. Any recording, publishing, management or studio services agreement must be in a separate written contract signed by Reecenben, Inc.

3. Music submissions

3.1 You keep ownership. You keep all ownership of the music, lyrics, artwork and other material you send us (your "Submission"). Sending a Submission does not transfer any rights to us, other than the limited license below.

3.2 Limited license to review. You give Reecenben a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, play and share your Submission within our A&R and studio team, only to review it and to contact you about it. We will not release, sell, distribute, publicly perform or use your Submission in any song or project without a separate written agreement with you. This license ends when we delete your Submission under our Privacy Policy.

3.3 Your promises. By sending a Submission, you confirm that:

  • you wrote or own the Submission, or you have permission from every co-writer, producer, featured artist, sample owner and other rights holder to send it to us;
  • the Submission does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights; and
  • the information you give us is accurate.

3.4 No obligation. We listen to submissions, but we are not required to respond to, review in full, sign, record, release or pay for any Submission. We may decline any Submission for any reason, and we may not be able to explain why.

3.5 Not confidential, and similar material. Submissions are not treated as confidential, and no confidential or fiduciary relationship is created by sending one. We work with many artists, writers and producers and hear a great deal of music. We may already be developing, or may later develop or receive, music, ideas or concepts similar to yours. Because of this, you agree that we are not liable to you for any claim that we used an idea, concept, style or approach from your Submission, unless we copied the protected expression in your Submission itself.

3.6 Unsolicited ideas. If you send us ideas, suggestions or proposals outside a Submission, such as ideas for a song, campaign or business, you agree that they are not confidential and that we may use them without paying you or giving you credit.

4. Inquiries and studio work

When you ask to work with us or hire the studio, we may reply with a proposal. Any paid work happens only under a separate written agreement or order that states the scope, price and timing. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • send music or other material that you do not have the right to share, or that infringes anyone's rights;
  • send content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that exploits or endangers anyone;
  • impersonate any person or artist, or misrepresent who you are or who made a recording;
  • send spam, repeated duplicate submissions, malware or files designed to harm our systems;
  • try to access parts of the Site or our systems you are not authorized to use, or interfere with the Site's operation or security;
  • scrape, copy or collect content or information from the Site by automated means; or
  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or help anyone else do any of these things.

We may delete any Submission or inquiry, and block anyone from using our forms, if we believe they broke these Terms.

6. Our content

The Site and its content, including text, logos, artwork, photos, videos and music belonging to Slide House and our artists, are owned by Reecenben, Inc., our artists or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view the Site for your own personal use. You may not copy, download, change, distribute or use Site content for any other purpose without our written permission. "Slide House" and our logos are trademarks of Reecenben, Inc.

7. Copyright and DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (the "DMCA").

How to send a notice. If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated copyright agent. Your notice must include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them);
  3. identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to find it, such as the page URL;
  4. your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the way you are complaining about is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.

Our designated copyright agent:

Copyright Agent, Reecenben, Inc.

9801 Westheimer Road, Suite 300, Houston, Texas 77042, USA

Email: info@reecenben.com

Phone: 925-382-6062

Please use the subject line "DMCA Notice" or "DMCA Counter-Notice." Our agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (registration DMCA-1082802).

What we do. When we receive a notice that meets these requirements, we will remove or disable access to the material quickly and make a reasonable effort to tell the person who posted it, including by sending them a copy of the notice.

Counter-notice. If material you posted was removed or disabled and you believe this happened by mistake or because the material was misidentified, you may send a counter-notice to our copyright agent. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and where it appeared before it was removed;
  3. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. your name, address and telephone number; and
  5. a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Reecenben, Inc. may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent.

When we receive a valid counter-notice, we will send a copy to the person who sent the original notice and tell them that we will restore the material in 10 business days. We will restore the material, or stop disabling access to it, no less than 10 and no more than 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice, unless our copyright agent first receives notice from the original sender that they have filed a court action seeking to stop the infringing activity.

Repeat infringers. We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users who are repeat infringers. Anyone who is the subject of more than one valid infringement notice that is not successfully countered may be blocked from using the Site and our forms.

False claims. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please make sure your notice or counter-notice is accurate before you send it.

8. Third-party links

The Site links to other websites and services, such as streaming platforms, social media and scheduling tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any Submission will be received, reviewed or kept.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Reecenben and its officers, directors, employees, agents and artists will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the Site or any Submission or inquiry. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a Submission is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and hold Reecenben harmless from claims by third parties arising from your Submission, your use of the Site, or your breach of these Terms, including any claim that your Submission infringes someone else's rights.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms, the Site or a Submission will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also keep any mandatory consumer protection rights given by the law where you live.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. The version in effect when you send a Submission applies to that Submission. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site, unless we sign a separate written agreement with you.
